Medirest Signature is recruiting for a casual Front of House Attendant at Astley Hall. You will welcome visitors, support opening duties and assist with family activities, exhibitions and events.

No heritage knowledge is required as full training is provided; we value friendliness, reliability and a confident, customer-focused approach. Shifts include weekends, school holidays and occasional evenings.

Qualificações

• Friendly, approachable, confident engaging with people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
• Experience of working with people, or the confidence to engage with others in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, events or visitor attractions is welcome but not essential.
• An interest in people, culture, heritage, events or visitor attractions.
• No specialist heritage knowledge is required, as full training will be provided.
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to remain calm, professional and helpful when things get busy.
• Flexible and able to work weekends, school holidays and occasional evenings.

• Share useful information about Astley Hall, exhibitions, activities and facilities - you're not expected to be a heritage expert

• Support family activities, exhibitions, events and special openings
• Assist with practical visitor-facing tasks including, wayfinding and managing visitor flow
• Keep in touch with the Duty Manager by radio and raise any concerns promptly
• Help us make Astley welcoming and accessible to everyone

We're looking for enthusiastic, approachable people to join our casual Front of House team at Astley Hall.

This is a people-focused role. You'll welcome visitors, help them get the most from their visit and support everything from everyday opening to family activities, exhibitions and special events.

You don't need to be a history expert. We're looking for people who are friendly, reliable, confident talking to different people and happy to get involved. We'll provide the information and training you need.

As a casual team member, shifts will vary and include weekends, school holidays and occasional evenings.
