Job summary

Lancashire Cricket Club's Hilton Garden Inn at Emirates Old Trafford is seeking a Casual Hotel Receptionist to join the Front Office team. You will welcome guests, handle enquiries, check-in/check-out, and help ensure a positive guest experience in a busy venue.

Working on site at Emirates Old Trafford, you will upsell where appropriate, coordinate with other departments, and participate in training. A friendly, professional approach and flexibility across shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office or customer service experience, ideally within a hotel environment.
• A genuine commitment to delivering a great guest experience.
• A positive, approachable attitude with strong communication skills.
• Good organisation and administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to stay calm and effective in a busy environment.
• Flexible, team-focused approach and willingness to support where needed.
• Experience using hotel property management systems is desirable, with Hilton systems experience an advantage.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and responding to enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Managing check-ins, check-outs and guest requests throughout their stay.
• Maximising room occupancy and revenue through effective upselling.
• Promoting Hilton Honors and enrolling new members.
• Completing daily Front Office tasks and checklists in line with brand standards.
• Sharing guest feedback and any issues with Front Office management.
• Supporting other hotel departments when required, including taking restaurant reservations.
• Assisting with minor guest room or operational issues, particularly out of hours.
• Completing relevant training as required.
