Job summary

Arena Racing Company, Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel, is seeking a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant to support daily breakfast, lunch and dinner service, with conferences and events in the mix. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver food and drinks, keep bar areas stocked, pour wine, set up event spaces and clear tables.

About the role:

Operating daily Breakfast, Lunch and Evening meal service with conferences and events also in the mix, we are on the lookout for a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant to aid our thriving and busy team.

Typical daily tasks may include-

• Greeting guests as they arrive at our restaurants, directing guests to tables, providing menus and taking orders
• Delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to room
• Keeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beverages
• Taking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the venue
• Opening wine bottles at the table and pouring drinks for guests
• Wiping down tables and chairs, removing rubbish and clearing
• Setting up, arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of event spaces
