Job summary

Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel is seeking a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant to support busy service across breakfast, lunch and evening events, working with a dynamic team.

Your duties include greeting guests, directing to tables, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, keeping bar areas stocked and assisting with event setup and clearing. Weekend and evening availability is ideal. You will help ensure guests have an excellent experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles preferred.
• Strong service mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests as they arrive and directing to tables.
• Delivering food from kitchen to tables or to rooms.
• Keeping bar and beverage areas stocked and welcoming.

About the role:

Operating daily Breakfast, Lunch and Evening meal service with conferences and events also in the mix, we are on the lookout for a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant to aid our thriving and busy team.

Typical daily tasks may include:

• Greeting guests as they arrive at our restaurants, directing guests to tables, providing menus and taking orders
• Delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to room
• Keeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beverages
• Taking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the venue
• Opening wine bottles at the table and pouring drinks for guests
• Wiping down tables and chairs, removing rubbish and clearing
• Setting up, arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of event spaces
