Job summary

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels' Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill-Dudley is seeking casual Food & Beverage team members to deliver friendly service across restaurant, bar, breakfast and events. You will be part of a busy hospitality team, working a variety of shifts to meet guest needs.

The role focuses on serving food and drinks, upselling menu items, and processing payments accurately. Availability for morning and/or evening shifts is required to ensure seamless service for every guest.

We are looking for dynamic individuals that put great customer service at the heart of everything that they do. We currently have a number of contracts available so are happy to discuss flexible working to suit both you and the needs of the business...*Our guests stay 7 days a week so we do need someone who is available to work a variety of shifts.

As a Casual Food and Beverage team member, your main duties will be:

• The service of food and beverage products in the restaurant, working within the bar, breakfast or evening restaurant team, or Meetings & Events working weddings, functions and other events
• Being able to confidently communicate all our food and beverage offerings available to customers.
• Accurately dealing with all payment transactions (cash, card and room charging) in the correct manner according to company guidelines.
• Providing a warm and welcoming service at all touch points with the guests ensuring that any queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a busy beverage service position is requested
• Attentive, professional customer service skills
• The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a big team
• Experience of processing payments (experience of Micros would be advantageous)
• As the position covers breakfast or dinner service the employee would need to be available for morning and/or evenings to ensure seamless service for each guest

About the Hotel

The hotel offers 138 modern guest rooms that combine Standard, Club and Suite accommodation.
