Job summary

Junior Adventures Group UK is seeking a Breakfast and After School Club Activity Leader in Swallow Rise, Chatham. The role is a casual contract with split shifts: mornings 7:30–9:00am and afternoons 3:00–6:00pm, offering flexible hours and a chance to gain experience with children aged 4–11.

Responsibilities include delivering age-appropriate activities, setting up safe play spaces, supervising with a friendly, inclusive approach, and assisting with snacks and sign-in/out procedures.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and create engaging activities.
• Be able to turn a morning or afternoon into a fun, safe experience.
• Willingness to work split shifts and occasional holiday cover.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities for 4–11-year-olds.
• Set up play spaces, keep areas safe, clean, and organised.
• Supervise children with care, manage sign-in/out with a friendly approach.
• Assist with snacks and support team during split shifts (7:30–9:00am, 3:00–6:00pm).
• Lead activities when needed and collaborate with colleagues.

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11.
This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What you'll do day-to-day:

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm, perfect for work-life balance or those seeking part-time fun!
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.
