Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is looking for a Childcare Activity Leader to run Breakfast Club and After School Clubs at Shefford Lower School. You’ll deliver engaging activities, supervise children aged 4–11, and work split shifts from 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–5:30pm.

Join a warm, energetic team with paid training, opportunities to increase hours during Holiday Club seasons, and a commitment to safety. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required to join our busy, joyful program.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
  • Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
  • Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring inclusivity.
  • Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out with a friendly face and attention to detail.
  • Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–5:30pm.
  • Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

AtJunior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to ourBreakfast & After School Clubsfor children aged 4–11.
This role issplit shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours duringHoliday Club seasonsandLunchtime Cover.

What you'll do day-to-day:

What we’re looking for:
