Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Clifton, Central Bedfordshire is hiring an Activity Leader for Breakfast Club and After School Wraparound care. You will run engaging, age-appropriate activities, manage play spaces, and supervise children aged 4–11 in a supportive environment.

The role is a term-time, part-time contract with mornings and afternoons, offering paid training and opportunities to develop professionally within a fun, energetic team.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and bringing energy to activities.
• Willingness to lead activities and manage groups of children.
• Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games and creative play.
• Set up safe, engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and organized.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:20–6:00pm, supporting breakfast and after-school care.
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

Hours: Breakfast and after-school club hours (7.30am-9.00am and 3.20pm-6.00pm) 18hours per week
Pay:In line with national minimum wage for age

AtJunior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to ourBreakfast & After School Clubsfor children aged 4–11.
This role issplit shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours duringHoliday Club seasonsandLunchtime Cover.

What we’re looking for:
