Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Swallow Rise, Chatham, ME5 7QB is seeking a part-time Breakfast Club Activity Leader to run mornings and after-school activities for children aged 4–11. You’ll deliver engaging activities, supervise with energy, and help with lunch and sign-in/out. The role is a split shift with opportunities to increase hours during holidays.

We value creativity, reliability, and a can-do attitude, with paid training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Loves working with children and has a positive, can-do attitude.
• Creative thinker who turns ordinary afternoons into magical experiences.
• Team player who can run activities and manage a group.
• Bonus if you have teaching, coaching, childcare or youth work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate activities such as multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, perfect for work-life balance or those seeking part-time fun!
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 8:45
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4-11.

This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What we’re looking for:
