Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Maidstone is seeking a boundless childcare Activity Leader to run morning and after-school sessions, delivering fun, age-appropriate activities and keeping children safe and engaged.

The role is split-shift (7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm) with term-time hours, offering flexibility for study or family commitments and potential increase during Holiday Club seasons.

Qualifications

• Loves working with children and a positive can-do attitude.
• Creative thinker who can turn an ordinary afternoon into a magical experience.
• Team player who can lead activities and manage a group.
• Bonus points for experience in teaching, coaching, childcare or youth work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities such as multi-sports and arts & crafts.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep areas safe and clean.
• Supervise children with care, ensuring everyone feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out with friendly, attentive service.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm; flexibility for more hours during holidays.
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11.
This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.
