Job summary

NCR Atleos in Warrington is seeking a Cash in Transit Officer to safeguard the transport of cash between locations. You may drive or courier, work solo or with a partner, and support service delivery while mitigating business risks.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols and strong focus on documentation and compliance, with a 45‑hour week and weekend rosters. A competitive package and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Provide continuous 10-year employment and education history (any gaps must be covered).
• Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• CVIT SIA licence desirable — if you already hold one you’ll receive a £1,000 bonus after probation; if not, training is fully funded.
• Conscientious driving with full adherence to the Highway Code.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
• All successful candidates must provide a 10-year traceable work and education history and complete a criminal record and credit background check.

• Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient service to customers.
• Communicating clearly with colleagues and the branch management team to ensure any issues or concerns are addressed within a reasonable timeframe and to a satisfactory standard.

45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours including paid breaks), with shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm and weekend work on rota basis

About the Role

As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks. No two shifts are alike. You’ll switch between driving and courier duties, working solo or alongside a partner to keep operations running smoothly.
