Job summary

NCR Atleos in Dagenham is recruiting a Cash in Transit Officer to oversee secure cash transport between sites and support service delivery. The role involves operating as a driver or courier, servicing ATMs and adhering to all safety and procedural standards.

You will drive company vehicles, complete required documentation, and meet operational targets while maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Weekend shifts and a 45-hour week are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Provide a continuous 10-year employment and education history.
• Valid full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• CVIT SIA licence is desirable; holders receive a £1,000 bonus after probation.

Working Hours

45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours per shift). Shift times 4:20am – 8:00pm, weekend work on rota basis.

About the Role

As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks.

• Operate as driver or courier, working alone or with a partner.
• Service ATM machines by securely transporting and deploying cash.
• Follow company processes, complete all related documentation, and meet operational targets.
• Drive and park company vehicles responsibly, complying with the Highway Code, company policy and procedures, and Health & Safety standards.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient service to customers.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to address issues or concerns within a reasonable timeframe and to a satisfactory standard.

Key Requirements

• Provide a continuous 10‑year employment and education history (any gaps must be covered).
• Valid full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Valid CVIT SIA licence is desirable; holders receive a £1,000 bonus after probation.
• Adhere to the Highway Code at all times.
• Follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
• Successfully complete a 10‑year traceable work and education history, criminal record and credit background check.
