Job summary

NCR Atleos in Warrington is seeking a Cash in Transit Officer to support secure cash transport between locations. You may switch between driving and courier duties, working solo or with a partner to ensure smooth operations.

The role involves a 45-hour week across four days, with shifts early mornings to evenings and weekend rota work. A generous package includes a joining bonus and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must provide a continuous 10-year employment and education history.
• Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• CVIT SIA licence desirable; if held, a £1,000 bonus after probation; if not, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive or courier cash between locations, solo or with a partner.
• Service ATMs by securely transporting and deploying cash.
• Complete documentation to meet targets and policy.
• Drive and park company vehicles safely in line with Highway Code and policy.
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver service.
• Communicate issues promptly to branch management.

• Job Title: Cash in Transit Officer
• Location: Warrington, WA1 4RR
• Salary: £35,766.10 per annum
• Joining bonus: £1,000 if you hold a valid CVIT SIA licence
• Shifts: 45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours including paid breaks), with shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm and weekend work on rota basis

About The Role

As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks. No two shifts are alike. As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll switch between driving and courier duties, working solo or alongside a partner to keep operations running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities

• Working alone or with a partner - either as a driver or a courier, depending on the assigned duties.
• Servicing ATM machines by ensuring the secure transportation and deployment of cash.
• Following company processes and completing all associated documentation in line with operational targets.
• Driving and parking company vehicles responsibly, in line with the Highway Code, company policy, and procedures to ensure compliance to all Health and Safety.
• Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient service to our customers.
• Communicating clearly with colleagues and the branch management team to ensure any issues or concerns are addressed within a reasonable timeframe and to a satisfactory standard.

Key Requirements

• Ability to provide a continuous 10-year employment and education history (any gaps in employment history must be covered).
• Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Valid CVIT SIA licence is desirable. If you already hold one, you’ll receive a £1,000 bonus after completing probationary period. If not, you can obtain it through our fully funded training programme.
• Conscientious driving, with full adherence to the Highway Code at all times.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
