Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking an enthusiastic finance assistant to join the team at The Point, Warwick. The role focuses on daily reconciliation and allocation of incoming cash using customer remittances for commercial accounts, with proactive customer contact when remittances are unclear.

You will record activity in Salesforce, correct misallocations, and identify anomalies, while maintaining accuracy and clear communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash allocation or accounts receivable.
• Experience recording in Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Proficient with SAP/Excel and finance systems.
• Strong communication when contacting customers by email/phone.

Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation and allocation of incoming cash for commercial accounts.
• Contact customers via email/phone when remittances are missing or unclear.
• Record all activity in Salesforce, including remittance attempts and allocation issues.
• Reverse incorrect allocations and reallocate funds when errors are identified.
• Identify remittance anomalies and proactively contact customers to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in repetitive tasks.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external customers.
