Job summary

JD Group in the United Kingdom invites applications for a cash control support role to extract and download daily takings, manipulate and reconcile data, and liaise with stores on variances.

The candidate will manage petty cash, apply strong controls for month-end, perform EFT reporting and data analysis, and thrive in a fast-paced environment handling large data volumes. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word, plus good communication, is essential; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and influencing skills required.
• Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy while under pressure.
• Experience with large volumes of data in a fast-paced cash control environment.
• Flexibility regarding working hours; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Contact branches for daily figures/variances for different fascias
• Download, manipulation, reconciliation and analysis of daily takings data
• Investigation of takings discrepancies
• Variance reporting, analysis and loss control liaison
• Petty cash control (from Stores and Head Office)
• Applying strong controls to deliver a smooth month end process
• EFT reporting, reconciling and analysis
• Experience of working with Outlook, Excel and Word
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy whilst working under pressure
• Experience of working within a fast paced cash control environment
• Experience of working with large volumes of data
• Flexibility regarding working hours as overtime maybe required
