Job summary

Single Homeless Project is recruiting a Caseworker to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team in London. You will provide one-to-one, person-led support to help clients maintain tenancies, improve wellbeing, and build financial resilience within a journey toward independence.

Work is Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with hybrid options and occasional home working. The role is based at our Kings Cross office and involves collaboration with SHP and community services to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Single Homeless Project has an opportunity for a Caseworker to join our experienced and committed teams based across London. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at £29,822.41 and rising incrementally to £32,034.46 per annum.

Caseworker posts are for Mondays - Fridays, 9am to 5pm. Posts involve hybrid work with opportunities to work from home at times. The role includes hybrid working and is based at our office in Kings Cross. There are opportunities to work from home at times.

About You

• You’re a confident collaborator who builds strong working relationships with colleagues and partner agencies to get the best outcomes for clients.
• You’re organised, proactive and able to balance competing priorities, staying calm and focused when things get busy.
• You know how to help people build greater independence, from strengthening day-to-day living skills to improving financial stability and tackling income, bills, debts or arrears.
• You take a genuinely person-centred approach, listening to what matters to each client, recognising their strengths and aspirations, and shaping support around their individual needs.
• You understand the challenges people experiencing homelessness can face, including navigating housing pathways, and you’re committed to delivering inclusive, respectful support that promotes choice and opportunity.

• A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period
• A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services
• 25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays),
