Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting a Case Management Officer for Hounslow's Housing Adaptation Service. You will manage a caseload of up to 40 DFG cases, guiding residents from enquiry to completion and performing home visits across the borough.

The role is hybrid (2/3 days in the office) with visits rounds; 36 hours per week; 3-month contract starting ASAP.

Strong customer focus, admin skills and ability to work independently as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex caseloads in housing, social care, grants or public sector.
• Knowledge of the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) process.
• Ability to travel across the borough for home visits.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Full driving license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to 40 DFG cases from enquiry through to completion.
• Be the first point of contact for residents seeking advice and support.
• Conduct home visits to vulnerable residents across the borough.
• Assess eligibility for grants and undertake means testing.
• Explain grant processes and funding options clearly.
• Liaise with Occupational Therapists, Surveyors, Social Care teams and contractors.
• Monitor progression and ensure timely project delivery.
• Raise purchase orders and support financial administration processes.
• Arrange and monitor installation of stairlifts, through-floor lifts and hoists.
• Maintain accurate case records and comply with policies and legislation.
• Support waiting lists and priority management.
