Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley is seeking a Carpenter Multi-Skilled in North London for a permanent, full-time role. The position offers a salary of £38,803 to £40,845 per year, with 40 hours per week and an on-call rotation.

A valid UK driving licence and van are provided, along with a generous benefits package including pension and health cover. Applicants should have social housing or local authority experience and an NVQ2 qualification (or equivalent).

Working hours/pattern

40 hours per week between 8am - 6pm. To support our residents, you will be required to participate in second shift and an out of hours on-call service on a rotational basis. Company van and fuel card provided.

Requirements

Experience

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
