Job summary

Connexions Thames Valley in South London is seeking a Carpenter Multi-Skilled to maintain and repair housing stock. This full-time role involves a 40-hour week between 8am and 6pm, with second shift and an on-call rota to support residents, and a company van and fuel card provided.

A valid NVQ2 or equivalent trades experience, plus prior social housing or local authority experience, is required. You will join a safety-driven team and benefit from a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Job description

Title: Carpenter Multi-Skilled

Location: South London

Salary: �38,803 - �40,845

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am – 6pm. To support our residents, you will be required to participate in second shift and an out of hours on-call service on a rotational basis. Company van and fuel card provided.

Requirements

Experience

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
