Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. You will work with kindness, respect, and attention to detail to support residents’ daily lives.

Full training is provided; prior housekeeping experience is helpful but not required. You will follow cleaning schedules, use products safely, support infection control, assist with laundry, and report issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided.
• You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail.
• You’ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation.
• Safeguarding training is required and you will undertake it as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
• Follow cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead.
• Use cleaning products safely and follow hygiene procedures.
• Support infection control and safety standards.
• Help with laundry and linen care.
• Report any issues or repairs as needed.
