Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to keep residents’ environments clean, safe and welcoming across dementia, nursing and residential homes. Full training is provided, and a positive, compassionate approach is essential.

You will clean bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, follow schedules, handle laundry, and report issues promptly. You’ll need to be organised, mindful of time, and respectful with residents, visitors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided.
• Be organised, manage time well, and work with attention to detail.
• Be kind and respectful in every conversation with residents, visitors and your team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead.
• Using products safely and following hygiene procedures.
• Supporting infection control and safety standards.
• Helping with laundry and linen care.
• Reporting any issues or repairs as needed.
