Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean, safe and welcoming homes for Residents in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care settings.

You will be responsible for cleaning duties, following schedules, safe product use, infection control support, laundry tasks, and reporting repairs. The role requires organisation, attention to detail and a caring, respectful approach to Residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided.
• Must be organised and manage time well.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a kind, respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
• Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
• Supporting infection control and safety standards
• Helping with laundry and linen care
• Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
