Caretaker

Based at Forest Gate - London

£28,734 - £30,246 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

We are seeking a Caretaker to join our Estate Services team in London.

As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for carrying out bulk removals, disposing of items correctly, and general cleaning of communal areas. The ideal candidate will have cleaning or caretaking experience, a track record of delivering high-quality services, and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and customer service.

Role Responsibilities

• Removal of bulk and overspills
• General caretaking duties including cleaning communal areas
• Grounds maintenance tasks such as litter picking and upkeep
• Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
• Completing all relevant documentation
• Carrying out Health and Safety inspections and reporting repairs
• Maintaining tools and equipment

Skills and Experience

• Experience in cleaning or similar tasks
• British Institute Certificate in Cleaning Services (BICS) is advantageous
• Experience operating hand tools and light machinery
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Good communication and customer care skills
• Full manual UK driving licence for driving company vehicles
