Job summary

University of the Built Environment is seeking a Careers Information and Systems Assistant to join the Careers and Employability team. This full-time role (35 hrs/wk) is permanent and splits between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home, with a salary in the range £25,000 to £27,000 per annum plus benefits.

You will analyse and enhance Target Connect, using data to drive improvements, develop metrics, and produce insightful reports to support student and graduate success.

Qualifications

• Experience working with systems and/or databases.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data using Excel and Power BI.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present data to a variety of audiences in accessible and engaging way.

Responsibilities

• Develop the use and functionality of the careers platform, improving the user experience and maximizing its value to users.
• Develop a suite of regular metrics and reports to inform teams and academics of student journeys, destinations and outcomes.
• Collect and analyse service usage data to identify trends and engagement and produce reports.
• Ensure all systems and data use comply with University’s policies, legislation and regulations.
