Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a Work Experience Officer to support learners across Watford and Dunstable, delivering high-quality education and training services with information, advice and guidance (IAG). This permanent, on-site role requires collaboration with employers to secure placements for learners and to promote work experience programs.

The role involves engaging with diverse learners, maintaining learner records, and contributing to service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience of generating work experience opportunities for 16-25 year olds.
• Knowledge of the Gatsby benchmarks.
• Experience sourcing employers to provide work placements or work-related projects.
• Level 3 qualification in IAG or above.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• SEN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice, and guidance to learners regarding work experience opportunities.
• Support the development and implementation of work experience programs.
• Assess learner needs and tailor support accordingly.
• Collaborate with employers to secure placements for learners.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and placements.
• Participate in outreach activities to promote work experience programs.
