Job summary

Wakefield Council is seeking a Partnerships, Progression & Destination Officer to connect adult learners with opportunities, employers and communities across the Wakefield district. The role focuses on building relationships, organising events, and supporting learners to progress into learning, volunteering or employment.

You will provide careers information, advice and guidance, develop partnerships, create progression opportunities and support outreach across the district.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification.
• Level 2 Maths and English required or a commitment to gain these within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide careers information, advice and guidance.
• Develop employer and community partnerships.
• Create progression and enrichment opportunities.
• Support outreach in communities across the district.
• Organise events, employer activities and guest speakers.
• Develop learner success stories and promotional content.
• Support social media, email and other marketing campaigns.
• Help celebrate the achievements of adult learners.
