Job summary

onlyFE is seeking an Employer and Workplace Experiences Coordinator within the Faculty of Technical and Creative. The role, based at the college, focuses on coordinating and developing employer experiences and creating new opportunities to enhance learners' progression into employment and further study.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in an education setting.
• Experience of providing advice, guidance and/or education to young people and/or adults.
• Experience of working as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Employer and Workplace Experiences opportunities and systems for students.
• Collaborate with Employer Relationship Managers and curriculum teams to develop work placements.
• Contact employers to generate employer and workplace experiences opportunities for students.
• Support placement activity and ensure learners are supervised.
• Develop a broad base of employers to secure opportunities or identify job openings.
• Match learners with suitable work aspirations to opportunities.
• Be innovative in arranging Employer and Workplace Experiences.
• Support team objectives and enable positive destinations for students.
• Be flexible with busy employers.
• Visit and support students in placements.
• Identify talent pipelines with Employer Engagement.
• Plan and organise Employer and Workplace Experiences per student.
• Act as a point of contact between employer, students and course teams.
