Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Lisburn to assist the Restaurant Manager in leading the team and delivering outstanding guest experiences across our restaurants.

You will drive food quality, maintain high operational standards, manage costs, stock controls, and safety compliance while supporting in-store events and growth opportunities within a well-established garden centre group.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
• Proven experience managing a restaurant operation.
• Commercial awareness with budgets and sales.
• Strong stock control and safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fast-paced restaurant operation, covering kitchen and front of house.
• Lead an engaged team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Manage stock controls to minimise wastage and support kitchen needs.
• Support in-store events and seasonal fixtures to drive guest engagement.
• Coordinate with central teams to keep operations smooth.
