Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Careers Coach to support participants across Cambridge and Peterborough. The role focuses on diagnosing needs, coaching individuals, and maximising funding to help secure employment. You will conduct outreach to communities and partners, build referrals, and guide job seekers through CV writing and interview skills.

The role offers a pro-rata salary for part-time, a structured rota, and opportunities for training and progression within Reed in Partnership.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing environment.
• Experience in a performance target driven environment.
• Willingness to travel locally and access to own vehicle.
• A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
• GCSE English Language at a minimum of Grade B.
• Fluency in community languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify each participant's skills and strengths, and suitable training, placements and volunteering opportunities.
• Provide CV preparation, job-searching and interview skills support.
• Conduct outreach activities such as community events and job fairs to generate referrals.
• Facilitate group training courses and workshops.
• Engage with employers and training providers to source opportunities.
