Job summary

Reed in Partnership in Basildon is seeking a dedicated Careers Coach to support Youth Jobs Guarantee by providing one-to-one careers guidance, CV writing, interview coaching and skills training across Basildon, Grays and Southend.

This office-based role involves local travel, a generous base salary, pro-rata terms for part-time, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to help you develop professionally while making a tangible difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., customer services, sales, or hospitality).
• Experience in a performance-target driven environment.
• Willingness to travel locally with access to own vehicle.
• Minimum of 2 A-Levels or Level 3 Diploma; GCSE English (B) required.

Responsibilities

• Identify participants' skills and match training, placements or volunteering opportunities.
• Provide CV writing, job-searching, and interview coaching.
• Lead outreach activities at community organisations, job fairs, and referrals with partners (JCP).
• Facilitate group training courses and workshops.
• Engage with employers and referral partners to source opportunities.
