Job summary
Reed in Partnership is seeking a Careers Coach to support unemployed and economically inactive individuals across Basildon, Grays and Southend. You will diagnose needs, coach individuals and group sessions, and help them access training and employment opportunities. A structured rota and local travel are part of the role.
The role focuses on CV writing, interview prep, and building relationships with DWP/JCP referral partners to generate opportunities for participants.
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing environment with a focus on service quality.
- Record of performance against targets in a busy setting.
- Willingness to travel locally and use own vehicle for meetings with employers.
Responsibilities
- Identify participants' skills and suitable training, placements and volunteering opportunities.
- Provide CV, job-search and interview support to participants.
- Conduct outreach via events, job fairs and community organisations.
- Engage with employers, training providers and referral partners to source opportunities.
