Job summary

Reed in Partnership in the United Kingdom is seeking a Careers Coach to support young people on Universal Credit through the Youth Jobs Guarantee programme. You will deliver one-to-one guidance, workshops and outreach to employers, helping participants access education or training and sustainable employment.

The role is office-based with local travel across Clacton, Colchester and Chelmsford. You will build relationships with referral partners, run job fairs and sessions, and empower job seekers

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing environment.
• Experience in a performance target driven environment.
• Willingness to travel locally and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify each participant's skills and suitable training, placements and volunteering opportunities.
• Provide CV preparation, job-searching and interview coaching support.
• Conduct outreach activities such as events and sessions at community organisations and job fairs.
• Facilitate group training courses and workshops as needed.
• Engage with employers and referral partners (DWP/JCP) to source opportunities.
