Job summary

Radis Community Care in Worcester at Meadow Court is seeking a Team Leader to supervise the extra care team and coordinate care planning for residents. You will support Care Workers, assign shifts, and oversee daily tasks including personal care and medication.

The role includes participating in the on-call rota and providing cover for care and housing-related duties when required. A driving licence and enhanced DBS check are advantageous and may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care with progression to Level 3 expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; willingness to learn and adapt to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for the care package and provide supervision/meetings for Care Workers.
• Schedule and allocate work to Care Workers; ensure personal care and tasks are client-specific.
• Support with medication and community-based tasks; participate in the on-call rota and provide cover as needed.
