Abbeyfield Living Society in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader & Care Assistant for Phil Mead House. The role combines leadership on shifts with hands-on care, ensuring residents' needs and wishes guide all actions.

The position offers 30.25 hours weekly with team leader shifts paid at £14.77 per hour and care assistant shifts at £13.35 per hour. Eligibility to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS check apply.

We are now looking for a dedicated Care Assistant / Care Team Leader to join our team at Phil Mead House in Coventry.

Role: Dual Role of Care Team Leader & Care Assistant
Location: Phil Mead House, 240 Bredon Avenue, Binley, CV3 2FD
Pay:£14.77 p/h for Team Leader Shifts & £13.35 p/h for Care Assistant Shifts
Hours: 30.25 a week

The Role of Care Team Leader & Care Assistant

• Our Care Team Leaders sit at the heart of what we do. Asthe recognised Senior Carer on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility forregular monitoring of thehealth, care and social needs of our residents.
• Preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plans, including the administering of medication.
• You'll supervise, support coachand developother team members, and liaisewith people involved in resident'scare, as well as with the residents themselves.Put simply, you'll ensureresidents'needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide.
• As the Senior Carer on that shift, you willtake the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.

About You

• You must be an experiencedCarer, ideally with a Level 3 qualificationin Health and Social Careor equivalent,or be committed to working towards this.
• As a Care Team Leader, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills. You'll already be skilled inwritingand updating Care Plans, and competent in the administration of Medication.
• Most of all, you'll be passionate and committed to providingexceptional care to our residents, their families and friends.
