Abbeyfield Living Society in Skipton is seeking a Care Team Leader (Senior Care Assistant) to oversee care on a 36.75-hour week at Woodlands Care Home. The role includes supervising staff, updating care plans and administering medications.

You’ll lead on shifts, ensure high-quality resident care, and coordinate with the team to meet residents' needs. Eligible to work in the UK, with DBS checks and references required.

• Must have Level 3 Health and Social Care or be working towards it.
• Able to demonstrate organisation and staff management skills.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional care to residents and families.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a dedicated Care Team Leader to join our team at Woodlands Care Home in Skipton.

Role: Care Team Leader (Senior Care Assistant)
Location: Woodlands Care Home, Skipton, BD23
Pay: £14.77 p/h - £15.24 p/h
Hours: 36.75 Hours.
Shifts: 3 x 12.25 hour shifts. 7:15am - 7:30pm. Alternative Weekends

The Role of Care Team Leader

• Our Care Team Leaders sit at the heart of what we do. Asthe recognised Senior Carer on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility forregular monitoring of thehealth, care and social needs of our residents.
• Preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plans, including the administering of medication.
• You'll supervise, support coachand developother team members, and liaisewith people involved in resident'scare, as well as with the residents themselves.Put simply, you'll ensureresidents'needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide.
• As the Senior Carer on that shift, you willtake the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.

About You

• You must be an experiencedCarer, ideally with a Level 3 qualificationin Health and Social Careor equivalent,or be committed to working towards this.
• As a Care Team Leader, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills. You'll already be skilled inwritingand updating Care Plans, and competent in the administration of Medication.
• Most of all, you'll be passionate and committed to providingexceptional care to our residents, their families and friends.
