Abbeyfield Living Society in Coventry is seeking a dual role Care Team Leader & Care Assistant to support residents at Phil Mead House. You will be the Senior Carer on shift, oversee care plans, and administer medications while guiding other staff.

A strong commitment to exceptional resident care is essential. The post offers two pay rates per hour for Team Leader and Care Assistant shifts, with a 30.25‑hour week and opportunities for development within the Abbeyfield Living Society.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent required.
• Strong organisational and staff management skills.
• Experience in writing and updating Care Plans; competent in medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Carer on shift, monitoring health and wellbeing of residents.
• Prepare, implement and review personal care plans; administer medications as required.
• Supervise and coach team members; liaise with care staff, residents and families.
