Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a Care Team Leader to guide and support care teams in delivering person‑centred care, working with the General Manager and Care Manager to ensure safe, compliant operations and a positive living environment for residents.

You will mentor colleagues, advocate for high standards, manage shifts on a three on/three off rota, and oversee medication administration in line with policies.

Qualifications

• Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Has experience in a senior care or leadership role.
• Is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care.
• Leads by example and enjoys coaching and developing others.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Is committed to maintaining high standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the home outside office hours or in the absence of the General Manager and/or Care Manager, ensuring safe and effective operation.
• Lead, coach and support the care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Provide high-quality personal care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents, ensuring their needs and preferences are understood and met.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing individual care plans.
• Undertake Move-In Assessments as delegated and contribute to admissions decisions.
• Safely order, administer and record medication in line with company procedures and legislation.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure colleagues do the same.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and relevant health and social care legislation.
• Complete quality audits, supervisions and appraisals as delegated by management.
• Support the delivery of hands-on care whenever required.
• Participate in the home's emergency on-call rota.
