Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Team Leader at Beaufort Park Retirement Village in Burnham-on-Sea to guide a compassionate team and ensure high-quality care for residents.

You will oversee personal care, daily living activities, and meaningful outings, while promoting independence. The role demands leadership, collaboration with families/healthcare professionals, and strict medication documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have 12 months right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years experience in social care.
• QCF Level 2 or above required.
• 40 hours per week (day shifts).
• Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.
