Job summary

Hightown Housing Association in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Care and Supported Housing Operations Manager to join us on a job-share basis. You will oversee the day-to-day management of multiple services, including registered care and supported housing, ensuring they are responsive, person-centred and delivered to a high standard.

This 18.75-hour per week role offers flexible hours and opportunities to lead dispersed teams, drive service improvement and work with commissioners and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience leading care or supported housing services.
• Ability to manage dispersed teams and drive service improvements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in care and housing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Scheme and Service Managers to deliver safe, high-quality services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including Care Quality Commission requirements.
• Oversee safeguarding, health and safety and risk management processes.
• Drive service development and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with commissioners, professionals and key stakeholders.
• Oversee staffing, performance management and workforce development.
• Monitor budgets and ensure services operate within financial parameters.
• Promote an inclusive and respectful culture.
