Job summary

Red 5 People is recruiting a Supported Housing Manager to lead a busy supported housing service and a team of five Recovery Workers plus one Administrator. You will ensure high-quality, recovery-focused support for people with mental health needs while building partnerships with local authorities and healthcare professionals.

Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, you will drive service improvements, safeguard practices and ensure contractual standards are met, with opportunities to develop

We’re recruiting for a Supported Housing Manager to oversee a busy supported housing service, leading a dedicated team and ensuring people with mental health needs receive safe, high-quality, recovery-focused support.

The Role

As Supported Housing Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a supported housing service, ensuring high standards of service delivery while supporting both your team and the people accessing the service.

You’ll manage a team of 5 Recovery Workers and 1 Administrator, providing leadership, coaching and guidance to help deliver positive outcomes.

Working closely with local partners and stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in maintaining service quality, developing partnerships and ensuring contractual standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Experience working within supported housing, housing services or a similar environment.
• Previous management experience or significant experience leading teams, projects or service development.
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and make confident operational decisions.
• A good understanding of safeguarding, quality standards and performance management.Previous experience as a Supported Housing Manager is desirable but not essential. We’d also welcome applications from experienced housing professionals who can demonstrate strong leadership potential and are ready to take the next step in their career.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Occasional flexibility may be required to support operational needs.
• Participation in a paid on-call rota once established in post.There are no night shifts associated with this role.
