Hightown Housing Association is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee dispersed mental health supported living services and lead Scheme Managers across multiple areas. You will drive service quality, ensure compliance and foster a psychologically informed, person-centred ethos.

The role requires strong leadership to coach teams, manage safeguarding and risk, and collaborate with commissioners, local authorities and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Hightown Housing Association is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Mental Health Supported Living Services.

About The Role

As Care & Supported Housing (C&SH) Operations Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of dispersed mental health supported living services, providing leadership to Scheme Managers across multiple areas.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Driving service quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Leading, motivating and developing teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.
• Promoting psychologically informed, trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
• Building strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
• Managing safeguarding, risk, performance and operational budgets.
• Supporting service transformation, growth and change management initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

• Significant experience supporting people with mental health needs, including managing risks associated with self-harm, suicidal ideation and complex behaviours.
• Experience leading teams using psychologically informed and trauma-informed approaches.
• Proven success in coaching, developing and performance-managing teams.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams through periods of change.
• A track record of improving service quality and achieving positive inspection outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with commissioners, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of PIE, safeguarding, risk management, person-centred support and mental health legislation.
• Knowledge of current mental health legislation, best practice guidance, and supported living service models.
• Experience implementing successful change management and service improvement programmes.
