Job summary

Norse Care’s Harker House in Long Stratton is seeking a Care Support Worker to join a friendly, supportive team. The role offers 35 hours per week with paid nights and enhancements, and opportunities for additional hours. We provide funded training, career progression, and a strong focus on person-centred care to improve the lives of our service users.

Applicants may be experienced in care or new to the industry. Sponsorship is not available.

• Respond to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicate with medical professionals as required

Care Support Worker –Long Stratton

£14.06 per hour (Nights) + enhancements

35 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours

A day in the life:

As a Care Support Worker you will assist with personal care and support tasks, enabling our service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan.

Working as part of a team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues and the service users, participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, and helping to promote a safe and engaging environment.

Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicating with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required.

About Harker House:

Harker House is our care home at the heart of the Long Stratton community in South Norfolk. The home provides short-term and full-time care and support, including specialist care and support for people living with dementia.
