Radis Community Care is seeking dedicated Support Worker – Community in Market Drayton. You will provide in-home care, with responsibilities including daily living tasks, personal care, light meals and household duties, while maintaining privacy and dignity.

A driver with own transport is required for this role. We offer full and part-time hours, free uniform and PPE, structured training, mileage allowances, and progression opportunities within Radis Community Care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Experience in care or support work is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to people living independently in their own homes.
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, hygiene, light meals and domestic tasks.
• Respect privacy and dignity and adapt to each individual’s needs.
• Work with Adult Learning Disability service users and receive enhanced pay for those calls.

About the role

You will need to be a driver with your own transport (car, motorcycle, moped etc) - the work is not suited to non-drivers

As a Support Worker - Community you will provide care/support to the people we support living independently in their own homes, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. This can include assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene, light meal preparation and domestic tasks and medication - this will mean you’ll understand the importance of privacy and dignity – so important to everyone. You will also work with Adult Learning Disability service users – and receive enhanced pay for these calls.

And always with a kind smile and a supportive word, even when sometimes a day is challenging!
