Lifeways in Cobham is recruiting Caring and Courageous Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities in a 24/7 care setting. You'll build meaningful relationships, support independence, and enable community access with empathy and respect.

We provide full training including NAPPI and BSL, and ongoing support to help you grow and succeed. We're looking for people who share our values and want to be part of One Team from day one.

Qualifications

• Have experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or in a customer-facing role where you've supported others.
• Commit to providing person-centred care with empathy and respect.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities in a 24/7 care setting.
• Help with daily activities and access to the community.
• Promote independence, confidence and personal choices for service users.

Brand New Service

Help to build a new service. We're building a brand-new team in Cobham and are looking for people who want to shape the culture from day one. With easy access from Byfleet, West Byfleet, Addlestone, Weybridge, Leatherhead and Woking.

Pay Rate: £13.90 per hour
Location: Cobham, Surrey
Contract: Full Time, Part time and Bank
Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday, working alternate weekends
Day shifts: Varied between 07:00 - 22:00
Waking night shifts: 22:00 - 07:00

You'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge in a 24/7 care setting. Every day is different, and every moment matters. Whether that's supporting someone to gain confidence using public transport, enjoy a day out with friends, work towards employment, build independence or achieve something they never thought possible, you'll play a huge part in helping people live the lives they choose.

We're looking for people who:
