EveryDay, the social enterprise wholly owned by Age UK North Tyneside, is seeking an Area Co-ordinator to oversee service delivery across North Tyneside. You will coordinate care, support staff, and liaise with customers and partner agencies to promote independence and well‑being.

You will join a supportive management team, contribute to quality standards, and help staff develop through supervision, mentoring and training.

Competenze

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2010.
• Knowledge of quality standards and good practice in care and support services.
• At least two years' experience within a health or social care setting.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple activities effectively.
• Experience using electronic care management or CRM systems.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or training staff.
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Health & Safety qualification.

• Ensure customers receive a consistently high-quality service that reflects their individual needs, goals and aspirations.
• Build positive relationships with customers, families, health professionals and partner organisations to coordinate effective support.
• Support the Area Manager with service coordination, capacity planning and the onboarding of new customers.
• Prepare and maintain care documentation, support plans and medication records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Participate in on-call duties when required to support service delivery.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to care staff and Team Leaders.
• Assist with supervision, mentoring and on-the-job coaching.
• Promote EveryDay's values, behaviours and quality standards throughout the team.
• Work with managers to support staff development, training and performance.
