Job summary

Tate is seeking a detail-oriented administrator to join our team in a hybrid role near Potters Bar. The position supports Direct Payments, Personal Health Budgets and related payroll activities, ensuring carers and service users are paid accurately and on time.

You will handle payroll and finance tasks, maintain client records, and respond to enquiries with care and accuracy. Training is provided in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, payroll or accounts within care/social services.
• Knowledge of Direct Payments, Personal Health Budgets or personal budgets.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and supportive approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing payroll and payment-related administration.
• Maintaining accurate client and financial records.
• Responding to telephone and email enquiries.
