Job summary

Cera Care, a UK care provider, is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a branch and support the Registered Manager. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure services comply with legislation and safeguarding policies, and support HR activities while maintaining strong relationships with local authorities.

You will lead a team of Coordinators and Team Leaders, drive performance against KPIs, and contribute to strategic decisions in partnership with the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated care environment.
• Knowledge of Health and Social Care Act and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to lead a team and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Registered Manager; support expansion of the organisation.
• Ensure services meet legislation, policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Deputise for the Registered Manager as required.
• Attend partnership meetings with housing teams and liaise with social workers.
• Ensure KPIs are achieved in collaboration with local authorities and Cera Care.
• Support HR investigations and disciplinary procedures.
• Maintain stock of uniforms, PPE and stationery.
• Support Team Leaders with management queries and On‑Call duties.
• Provide day‑to‑day management and reports to senior management and Commissioners.
