Job summary

Cera Care is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead our branch in the UK on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The role offers a salary of £32,000 per annum and reports to the Registered Manager, with responsibility for day-to-day care operations and team performance.

You will oversee Coordinators, Team Leaders and care staff, ensure adherence to health and social care legislation, and build strong partnerships with local authorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated care environment is essential.
• Knowledge of Health and Social Care Act required.
• A natural leader with ability to manage budgets and teams.
• Experience coordinating with local authorities and social workers.
• Experience supporting service users with complex needs.
• Passion for delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for Registered Manager when required.
• Attend partnership meetings with housing team.
• Liaise with local authorities and third parties.
• Ensure KPI targets are achieved.
• Support HR investigations and disciplinary procedures.
• Oversee inventory of uniforms, PPE and stationery.
• Support Team Leaders with management queries.
• Manage On Call duties as needed.
• Provide reports to management and Commissioners within agreed timescales.
• Attend branch review meetings with senior managers.
• Oversee day-to-day care operation with Coordinators and supervise Care/Team Leaders.
