Job summary

Crystal Care Collection in the United Kingdom is seeking a Care Manager to partner with the General Manager and lead the home to deliver safe, compassionate care and high-quality resident experiences.

You will mentor the care team, ensure personalised plans, support recruitment and training, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Crystal Care Collection's values. This role offers progression within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) required or underway.
• Experience leading residential, nursing or healthcare teams.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, proactive with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with day-to-day leadership and operation of the home.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
• Monitor and evaluate care delivery with individualised care plans.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Social Care legislation, CQC standards and policies.
• Conduct supervisions, appraisals and performance management conversations.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and ongoing training.
• Monitor staffing levels and rota planning.
• Build relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Promote a positive culture of compassion, dignity and respect.
