Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a Care Manager to lead the home alongside the General Manager, delivering safe, compassionate, person-centred care and driving operational excellence in Ramsgate.

You will mentor the care team, oversee care delivery, implement improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and support recruitment and training, with regular supervision and a focus on resident wellbeing and team development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Proven leadership of care teams in residential/healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home alongside the General Manager to deliver safe, compassionate care.
• Mentor and develop the care team to maintain high performance and morale.
• Monitor care delivery against individualised care plans and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Social Care legislation and CQC standards.
• Conduct supervisions, appraisals and manage performance discussions.
• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing staff training.
